Hot off the press: HMRC’s amendment to the Coronavirus Job Retention scheme

HMRC have just announced that they have changed the qualifying date when an employee has to be on employer’s payroll to benefit from the furlough scheme.

This has been changed to 19th March 2020 when it was previously 28th February 2020.
