The government have published the new statutory rates for maternity pay, paternity pay, shared parental leave. These rates will be effective from 5th April 2020.

| Adoption Leave | £148.68 | £151.20 |
| Statutory Sick Pay | £94.25 | £95.85 |
These rates tend to rise each year in April in line with the consumer price index (CPI).
In order for your employees to qualify for these types of rights, your employees’ earnings must be equal to or be more than the lower earnings limit.
