Extension to furlough scheme

Today the chancellor has announced that the furlough scheme is to be extended until the end of April 2021. It has also been confirmed that the government will continue to contribute up to 80% of furloughed workers wages. This ends speculation that the government contribution would be reduced at the end of January.
